Receipt prioritisation

For each client, we register receipts of goods that need to be processed as a priority. Either because of stocking products for a planned campaign or to replenish existing (missing) stock. In our MySkladon application, the client can set a priority for each goods receipt according to their current needs.

Records of expiry date and batch

When goods are received, we systematically track the expiry date and batch for relevant products. We thus reduce the risk of expiry dates, we stock according to the specific requirements of B2B partners, we are able to trace and dispose of defective batches, etc.

Labelling

Do you cooperate with suppliers who do not label their goods or often make mistakes in labelling? To ensure accuracy in storage and picking, we label products with EAN or QR codes, stick instructions for use, include package inserts and more.

Quality checks

For clients who are not satisfied with the production quality of the delivered products, we provide (random) quality checks according to the established guidelines. We visually assess colour, tighten caps on liquids, verify product functionality, etc.

Are you planning a marketing event or need to finalize a multi-item product? We provide our clients with kitting of sets, kits or gift packs according to a set list of items, either immediately after receiving the products in stock, in a batch or on an ongoing basis.

Do you offer your customers the possibility to customize products with engraving? In our distribution center we engrave your chosen texts, logos or images on products.

We also offer our clients the possibility of embossing. We can stamp unique messages – composed of letters, numbers or other characters – on selected products according to the customer’s requirements.

Do you need to decomplete previously shipped products and then restock your inventory for new orders? We have extensive experience with this process and are happy to help.

For coffee retailers, we grind coffee beans to the required coarseness directly in our warehouse facilities. We heat seal the final packaging and apply the appropriate labels.

Do you trade with non-EU partners and your goods are subject to customs duties? Take advantage of our bonded warehousing permit. You only pay customs duties at the time of order reception, optimising your company’s cash flow.

We systematically analyze sales at the level of each product, where we then store the best-selling items as close to the packing tables as possible and vice versa. We are thus able to ensure the highest possible efficiency in the order handling process.

Do you value customer experience and is unboxing important to you? We clean our clients’ products of dust and other possible dirt from production before packaging.

For the registration and possible complaint management of electronic devices, we pick up products by serial number or IMEI. This information is systematically paired with the product throughout the complete purchasing process.

As a standard, we pick goods using the FIFO method, but in the case of products subject to expiry date, we systematically follow the FEFO method. Our clients can select the picking method at the product level in the MySkladon client application.

Arranging pickups

In addition to standard carriers, we also cooperate with carriers specializing in oversized pallet transport. We quote prices for our clients, order shipments, meet the required delivery slots for B2B partners, handle the necessary documentation (CMR, weights, dimensions, stackability of shipments) and more.

Customs procedure

If our clients import/export their goods outside the European Union, we represent them in communication with customs authorities. We also cooperate with Mywatrade company on importing goods from third countries.

Cleaning and photography of returned products

Goods that are returned from the customer to our distribution center are restored to saleable condition – we check for damage, clean, repackage, and restock. In case of any confusion, we photograph the goods and send them to the client for assessment or resend to the original address.

Return labels

In segments with higher return rates (e.g. fashion, footwear), we include return address labels in all shipments for possible return of goods. Of course, based on an agreement with the client in order to improve the customer experience associated with reverse logistics.

If required by the client, we are able to arrange regular/impact pick-ups for their goods, which are transported to the dry cleaners and then back to our distribution center.

For our clients we arrange the disposal of goods that are no longer saleable. We also have experience in the environmental disposal or disposal of goods that belong to a special regime.

We monitor all our packing tables with 4K camera systems. Their recordings are then used to resolve any customer complaints. We send our clients photographs showing the (in)legitimacy of the case.

Frequently asked questions

How do you react to the increase in orders and sales peaks of your clients?

We flexibly increase our team of full-time employees with agency workers, where we primarily choose from already trained ones. If necessary, we implement multi-shift operation, weekend shifts or paid overtime. Individual workstations and warehouse processes are set up for multiple increases.

How long does it take to connect to the Skladon system?

The duration depends on the type of platform of your online store and the intensity of work in connecting the systems according to our instructions. The optimal time frame is between 1 – 3 weeks. We have plugins and add-ons available for the most common solutions like Shopify, WooCommerce, Upgates and others where the connection takes within lower units of days.

How are fulfillment services billed?

Our services are billed on a monthly basis. Each of our clients pays a flexible amount for a specific month, where they are charged for the services they have actually used – warehouse space and logistics operations. We set individual quotations with our clients at the beginning of our cooperation, according to their specific needs.
