Skladon among the fastest growing companies in EMEA
Prague, June 12, 2024 – Skladon, which ranks among the top 3 fulfillment providers in the Czech Republic, has been ranked in the EMEA Fast 500 for 2023. This ranking recognizes the fastest growing technology companies in the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and is supported by the Deloitte Fast 50 program.
The Deloitte EMEA Fast 500 program is an objective industry competition that considers revenue growth as a determining criterion for the final ranking. The final list has been compiled from companies that have registered for the Technology Fast 50 programmes in the relevant regions. Skladon, which manages the logistics for around eighty medium and large retailers such as Kilpi, Skinners, Trezor, Xero Shoes and NAREX, followed up on its November ranking in the European division, when it increased its sales by 1,213% over the last three years. It was thus ranked 141st in the final ranking, which meant 7th place among domestic companies.
„It is a pleasure for us to be able to position ourselves among innovative companies even in such an important region, which EMEA undoubtedly is. This is also helped by the growing awareness of the benefits of our service, which we have been trying to establish on the Czech market and beyond. We believe that we are on the right track to reach further important milestones,” says Konstantin Margaretis, CEO Skladon.
The UK dominates the ranking, Czech companies playing an important role
The complete ranking includes companies from 30 countries operating in 9 different sectors. Most of the representatives (81) operate in the UK, 32 of the ranked companies come from the Czech Republic. The awarded companies grew their revenues by an average of 1,931%, with 175 players managing to grow at a rate of more than 1,000%. The overall winner of the competition was Metacore, a Finnish company specialising in mobile game development. Between 2021 and 2023, it has recorded a growth of 89,319%.
Nomination requirements
To be nominated for the Technology Fast 50, which is the basis for the final EMEA Fast 500, companies must meet several criteria. The conditions remained unchanged from last year, so companies had to, for example, report operating revenues of at least EUR 50,000 in the last three years and operating revenues of at least EUR 100,000 in the current year. To qualify for this year’s ranking, they needed to grow by at least 315%.
