Skladon has been ranked in the FT 1000, which announces the fastest growing companies in Europe

March 1, 2024 – Skladon, a fulfillment services company that provides logistics for medium and large retailers, has been named among Europe’s 1,000 fastest growing companies for the third consecutive year. It ranked 150th in the annual FT 1000, making it the sixth most successful Czech company.

The logistics and technology company Skladon has been among the three most stable fulfillment providers on the Czech market for several years. Its services are used by clients such as Trezor, Kilpi, Skinners, Pepperfield and now also the Czech tool manufacturer Narex. Skladon achieved its position thanks to its stable revenue growth between 2019 and 2022. In its financial results from the last mentioned year, it showed another year-on-year growth, this time by 15%.

Our repeated inclusion in the FT 1000 ranking is a commitment to us for the years to come, as well as a confirmation that our ability to tailor our service to our clients’ logistics needs is the right direction. I also congratulate other innovative companies on their growth, especially in the turbulent times we are facing,” comments Konstantin Margaretis, CEO and co-founder of Skladon, on the ranking.

The FT 1000, which is compiled annually in collaboration between the Financial Times and Statista, includes companies from 35 European countries. Their ranking is determined by a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) in revenues. To be included in this year’s edition, a minimum rate of 36.2% had to be met, Skladon achieved 147.5%.

The overall winner was Raylyst Solar, a Prague-based distributor of solar panels and photovoltaic products, which recorded growth of 824.4%. The company primarily benefits from increased demand for renewable energy as governments strive to meet climate targets. The IT and software, construction and e-commerce sectors were the biggest contributors to this year’s ranking. In addition to Skladon, the ranking also included other Czech companies such as Nanosun, Woltair, Love2Dogs, Solsol and others.

According to the official statement of the organiser, this year’s placements were made by companies that have demonstrated resilience and the ability to thrive in the recent highly turbulent times. Indeed, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the subsequent high inflation and the energy crisis triggered by the war in Ukraine, all factored into the results.
